Recipe: Pareve Tiramisu

Ingredients

3 small cartons of pareve cream such as Nutriwhip

1 package ladyfingers

2 cups espresso

1 tablespoon coffee liquor or rum

Cocoa powder

A delicious shabbat lunch dessert done in 15 minutes? Yes, you will see it’s possible, be’ezrat Hashem!

In a mixing bowl, beat the pareve cream until very stiff. Then pour the espresso and the liquor in a shallow bowl. Take a mold or pretty dish and start layering ladyfingers dipped in the coffee and liquor for just a second. Sprinkle with cocoa using a sieve and cover with a layer of pareve cream. Repeat until the mold is full and finish with a layer of cream, sprinkle with cocoa and refrigerate overnight at least. Serve cold!
