In memory of the huts built by our ancestors in the desert as well as the Clouds of Glory

that guided them and protected them for 40 years,  we build every year a Sukka

in which we dwell for 7 days (8 outside of Israel). By doing so, we demonstrate our faith and express our appreciation towards G-d, who gave us all that we needed. This mitzvah is very unique,

because our entire body takes part into it! Explanation in 5 steps!
